Halloween in the Bayou: New Twitch Drops for Hunt: Showdown 1896 Announced
October is coming to an end, but there's still something to grab in the Bayou. Crytek has announced a new Twitch Drops event for Hunt: Showdown 1896. Just in time for Halloween and Stream-o-Ween, players can secure additional rewards for two weeks.
The event starts on October 26, 2026, at 4:00 PM German time and ends on November 9 at 4:00 PM.
This time, Crytek has prepared a comprehensive package: Over 20 Twitch Drops allow for a total of up to 128 individual rewards. In addition to supply crates, there are legendary equipment skins, random cosmetic items, and various hunters.
These special rewards await you
Two new legendary skins are making their debut during the event:
Leap of Faith: A new skin for the Stamina Shot.
Hide and Seek: A legendary skin for the Choke Bombs.
Additionally, there are random legendary skins, weapon charms, avatars, and hunters. Those who have already collected many previous Twitch Drops will have another opportunity to complete their collection.
The legendary hunter Head Taker is also available again. However, special participation conditions apply to him.
All five reward phases at a glance
Unlike a continuous reward event, the drops will change in several time windows this time. Each phase offers its own items.
October 26 to 30 – Phase 1
To kick things off, there is a random legendary skin and three supply crates. Additionally, the event to support participating streamers begins.
October 30 to November 2 – Phase 2
The highlight is the new legendary Stamina Shot skin Leap of Faith. Additionally, three supply crates can be unlocked.
November 2 to 4 – Phase 3
Here, a random weapon charm awaits you. Three more supply crates are also part of the reward package.
November 4 to 6 – Phase 4
Now Hide and Seek becomes available, the new legendary skin for the Choke Bombs. Three supply crates are also included again.
November 6 to 9 – Phase 5
To conclude, a random legendary hunter, an avatar, and three more supply crates are ready.
Important: Pay attention to the respective time windows. If you want a specific reward, you should not miss the corresponding section.
How to get the legendary hunter Head Taker
In addition to the normal rewards for watching, there is a special event to support Twitch streamers.
Anyone who subscribes to a paid channel or gifts one during the corresponding event period will receive a Twitch chat badge and the profile title Head Turner.
With a total of two corresponding subscriptions, the legendary hunter Head Taker can be unlocked.
If this hunter is already part of your collection, you will instead receive a random legendary hunter.
The subscription rewards are separate from the regular drops through free viewing.
How to participate in the Twitch Drops
You need a Twitch account linked to your Hunt account.
Open the official Twitch Drops page for Hunt: Showdown.
Link your Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation account with Twitch.
Watch a Hunt: Showdown 1896 stream where drops are enabled.
Track your progress in the Twitch Drops inventory.
Claim your unlocked rewards there.
If you have already linked your account during a previous event, you should still check if the link is still active.
